Reactivated SLODUST Working On New Material

May 9, 2008

Swedish metal band SLODUST which released the "Twisted Ahead" album in 2001 via the Black Mark label has been resurrected with a new lineup and is planning to hit the studio shortly to record a new EP.

Formed in the late Nineties by bass player Roger Ersson, drummer Hugo Tigenius and singer Niklas Murbeck, SLODUST "has been alive for almost a decade," according to the group's official bio. "The Nynashamn-based band has had its ups and downs, has seen members come and go. But in the end it always have made clear for others around what also can be read in the convolute of the band's one album: 'SLODUST is not a project, its our lifestyle.' Those words is the core, the very essence of SLODUST and it is evident now more than ever.'
